La Conca del Sogno sits at Recommone, the bay next to Marina del Cantone. It is a restaurant, a beach club and a small hotel, built on terraces cut into the rock.
Offshore lie the islet of Isca and, further out, Li Galli — the islands of the Sirens. You reach the place on foot, by boat, or along a private toll road; you do not arrive here by chance.
The restaurant, the loungers and the rooms are stacked on terraces carved out of the cliff, right down to the pale-pebble beach of Recommone.
From the water’s edge you look out on the islet of Isca and, on the horizon, Li Galli — the islands where legend placed the Sirens.
The private-road toll shifts with the season and is best confirmed on the spot; booking is advised for both the restaurant and the descent by car.
From the far end of Marina del Cantone a coastal path runs through agaves and olive trees, with Li Galli in view. Fifteen to twenty minutes. It emerges into a boatyard beside a house; through a gate, you are on the beach.
From Nerano, take a sharp left after a minute. A hundred metres on, at the Baia Nerano campsite entrance, a private road begins. In high season the descent and parking cost around €20, and booking is advised.
This is how half the restaurant arrives. The bay has become a name among sailors, particularly foreign ones.
Pale pebbles, sheltered from the wind. Roughly half is free; the rest belongs to the beach club, with loungers on the rock terraces.
A defensive watchtower overlooks the cove — one of the old coastal lookouts of the peninsula.
The path from Marina del Cantone is one of the shortest and finest on the peninsula — worth it even if you never sit down to eat.
On foot in fifteen to twenty minutes from Marina del Cantone, by boat, or by car along a private toll road.
Around €20 in high season, including parking. Booking advised. Rates change — check.
About half of it. The rest belongs to the beach club.
Yes, for both the restaurant and the road.
Yes. Unlike Ieranto, this bay is outside the marine reserve’s no-access zones. Check current rules.
The toll, prices and seasons change every year. The ≈ €20 private-road figure and the “roughly half free” split on Recommone beach are indicative and should be confirmed before you set out. Contact the restaurant directly. For navigation rules — arriving by private boat — check the Punta Campanella Marine Protected Area.
